Thread: please help. yeast infection?

okay so heres the deal.
i went to the doctor and was told that i hadbacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection. i took Flagyl and Monistat to clear them both up. everything was fine... well the dumb doctor never told me that my boyfriend had to be treated too. so apparently i gave it to him because when i slept with him again, all the symptoms came back. so i took monistat again, and everything cleared up without even taking the Flagyl again. he's not having sypmtoms but im pretty sure i passed the infections.
1. is it possible that i gave him a yeast infection but not the BV if we slept together (no protection) like 20 times while i had these infections?
2. how does he get rid of a yeast infection? anything over the counter that he can take?? he's probably had it for like 4 months now, but still has no symptoms?

this is really effecting our relationship, because we are trying to conceive.

well he do need to go to the doctor as well, cause even though he dont have the signs of having it, he has it and he will continue giving it to you.
