My partner has been smoking again and I'm so worried and angry as his lung collapsed 2 years ago and he was told never to smoke again. He admitted he'd been really stupid and said he gave up about a week ago. I've just done a smokescreen nicotine test on him and it said he was a medium smoker. I was so angry with him but he says the test came back positive because he had been chewing nicotine gum. Can the gum make the test positive, or is he just trying to cover up that he's still smoking? Can anyone help, please? It's so important that I find out. Thank you.
