Thread: Please answer, lots of answer. About breast tenderness/period.?

Ok well Im 16 yrs old. I have had my period since I was 11 years old. My last period started March 4th. And my breasts sort of are tender I cant really tell.

The tissue is fine around, it doesnt hurt at all when I push on it. But the tissue like underneath the nipple and ariola, that part hurts to push on. Is that part sore because of my period? or is the tissue under the nipple and ariola just sore because its always tender like that?

Im not supppose to start my period for another whole week =/

breast pain can be a part of PMS, pregnancy, or a result of fibroids. You might just be experiencing the breast pain as a result of PMS. Or, since you are 16, your body could still be growing and that could be causing the pain. Sometimes, rough foreplay during sex can cause nipple pain like you are describing.

All in all, it is not something to worry about. If your nipples start to leak, that is a sign of something more serious (unless a woman is breastfeeding obviously)
