Thread: is this period spotting?

well three days ago, i went to the loo, and there was a miniscule reddish brown dot(it was tiny) and the next day, there was another spot exactly the same as the one before, but the next day there was not anything. i am 11, and have never had a period before, and for the past year or so, have been having mild cramps, and heavy discharge. is this period spotting, or something else???

that's just some brown discharge. Period Spotting is just enough to where when you wipe you see blood but not really enough to wear a tampon. When you get your period, you'll know. I remember walking down the hall and I felt mine.

Possibly. You really won't know until one day you pull down your pants and it looks like you've had an accident, haha. I freaked out the first time I got mine, because there was really quite a lot of brownish stuff down there. You could start wearing a panty liner or pad as a precaution. Good luck.
