I was eating a hard lolly and my tooth (which is an adult molar, probably more filling than actual tooth) made a crunch sound.
One of the 4 pointy parts of my tooth came off but it wasn't real tooth, that pointy part was entirely made of filling.
You could say if my tooth was a square one quarter of the square was gone - a whole column (right down into the gum, i don't know how deep the filling was) is gone but there is still some filling in there in the middle.
The reason I am asking if it could wait to go to the dentist (about a week) is because it is school holidays and I am a student. It's much cheaper to go to my school dentist than a private one.
In the meantime I could just chew on the other side. It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels a bit wierd and jagged. Can I get away with that? Or will it be worse for me when I eventually go to the dentist?
