Hi, recently I've been craving fruits for some reason. I have been on a low carbohydrate diet trying to lose a few pounds and then maintain my weight, so I've eaten probably ~50 carbs per day for the last few years. Recently, however, I've had an intense craving for fruit, and the mere sight of meat, cheese, or other fatty foods makes me feel ill.

When I'm hungry, the only thing that appeals to me is fruit (and salads!), plus maybe some chicken a few times a week. I also eat around 1 or 2 servings of either oatmeal or some kind of no sugar added cereal per day. What do you think is the cause of this? Is it bad that I am craving fruit? Would that indicate a health problem, or am I just craving sweet things all of a sudden because I've been deprived of them for so long?
