I had a loose filling and the Dr. told me that some decay got into the pulp but didn't hit the nerve. So about two weeks ago the dentist decided to put in a temporary filling instead of a permanent one to see if it'd be okay without having to get a root canal. Everything seemed fine, so two days ago he put in a permanent filling..and now my tooth feels a bit sore.

is that normal? He did tell me that he can't promise that it'll be 100% okay, and to call if anything seems wrong.
