I have no problem w/ sit ups, push ups, etc. My issue is with running.....I'm horrible at it and get bored with it easily lol. So far I've been running on a treadmill and have worked my way up to 20min (it's kinda weird.....some days its really easy and others not so much). This however doesn't translate very well whenever I try to run around a track or trail (my speed and stamina totally suck.) Anyway to get to the point is it better to train on a treadmill, run around a track,or both? What are some exercises that you can do to build up speed and stamina? My recruiter told me that I'll be heading out to basic in June/July (to give you guys an idea of how much time I have.) I need to be able to run 2/2.5mi for the airmens run (not sure if thats timed or anything) and I want to be able meet to requirements for a honor graduate (which is being able to run 1.5mi in 11:33min or less.)
