Thread: My vagina hurts severly. ?

a little over a week ago, it hurt really bad when i urinated, so i just figured it was a UTI and drank cranberry juice. Sense im really suseeptible to UTIS and i take a lot of bubble baths, i didnt think anything of it.
Well the pain never went away and actually got worse.
I do have a IUD inside of my cervix.
i am one week late of my period
There is no swelling or any type of smell, no discharge and my pee isnt discolored.
Today i noticed that it hurt me sooo bad to sit down.
So i had my husband look at it and he said it was just really swollen
So i took a mirror to my vagina and there is a nickle shaped swollen part of my vagina that is covering the opening of it!!! i am freaking out.
We havent had sex in a week, so its not like he hurt me to bad.
Yes, i am going to see my doctor.
i looked these symptoms up and i found absolutly nothing on it!
if any of u women have expierenced this please let me know.
Or if any body knows anything about this ???

like i said, its not a itchy or smelly, and my pee isnt discolored. it just hurts sooo bad.

oh and if i pressed on the "lump" that is covering my "Hole" it hurts really bad and the lump is really hard.
I do not have an std, its nothing like that.
its nothing ive ever expierenced before.
Its not from sex.
and yes i pee after me and my man have intercourse.
I am a very clean person and im just freaking out because i have no idea what this is.

Alainaxtina, your problem sounds as if it may be a bartholin cyst. The Bartholin glands are on either side of the vagina and may become infected. When infection sets in the vagina becomes EXTREAMLY painful. Sometimes these things drain by their lonesome, other times (usually the majority) they need to be drained. This can be done in most GYN offices or in your local emergency room. Best advice... See your physician. If there is going to be a considerable wait to get an appointment, go to the ER.
In the mean time, warm soaks can help.
