Thread: My mom has a lump on her neck near her jaw bone. I'm worried, what is it?

My mom is around 48 and she told me that she found this mysterious lump on the side of her neck a couple months ago. She told me that she's been having aches around her body. She's anemic and she has had asthma for more than a year (but is recovering successfully). Do these play a role? Is this lump a serious issue? I'm pretty sure we don't have a family history of cancer.

I'd like to know what the lump is called and how can we get rid of it so my mom won't feel any pain anymore. Thanks in advance.

Thats were her lymph nods are in her neck there most likely just swollen like if she is sick or something. She might want to go to the doctor.
