A 3 * 3mm coronal helical scan was taken through the paranasal sinuses without IV contrast and 5*5 mm axial helical scan post intravenous contrast.
The frontal, ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses are clear. A fluid level involving approximately half of the right maxillary sinus is present. A 2.1 cm polyp or mucocele fills the left maxillary antrum and is occluding the ostium. A small amount of fluid is also noted within this sinus.
There is no bony expansion or destruction
The inferior nasal turbinates are mildly tthickened
