    musculoskeletal disease and arthritis?

    are they the same?

    No they are not the same. Arthritis could be seen as a disease within musculoskelatal diseases. A musculoskelatal disease is any disease relating to muscles and bones combined. Arthritis is inflamation of the joints. I included a link that will explain all musculoskelatal diseases and all types of arthritis.
