A few months ago I had a CT head scan. The technician was having a difficult time finding a vein to inject the dye. The first time she tried, she ended up pumping dye under the skin of my arm, making it swell significantly. When she removed the needle, dye began squirting out of my arm all over the room. The second attempt successfully reached a vein and the rest of the procedure went fine, however my arm still had dye in it for over a week following the scan and it was VERY sore and difficult to move. A few weeks after the scan, strange things started happening to my skin primarily on the side of my body where I recieved the injection. I developed a few small bumps on my back and neck which feel like acne but are solid with no puss and wont go away. The thing that concerns me the most is that the skin on the right side of my head has begun thickening significantly. I really have no clue why these symptoms are occurring, but felt the botched dye injection might have played a role?
