I've had problems with my left knee for almost 6 years now (i'm 18). Basically, whenver I run, it hurts. It's a sharp pain that seems to be located on the inner side beside the knee cap. My knee also cracks when I twist it slightly (my good one doesn't) and I also seem to be able to move the knee cap more on this side. The pain is particularly prominent when I do the hamstring stretch where you stand on one leg.
I would like to know if there is anything I can do to stop the pain. So far I've tried resting it (sitting out a couple of seasons) and also stationary biking because I heard it was good for knees.
I would love to see a physio but thats out of the question unfortunatley.
Would strapping it with tape help at all?
And if it did how would I do this
