I got this white line of hairy like projections on my tongue. When I scrape it off, it seems like it's gone but after a second it will be back.

Thinking of Candida albicans (an opportunistic pathogen that attacks during lowered immune system), I rushed to my physician to confirm it if really is a mycotic (fungal/yeast) infection after all.

She said that it's not of fungal origin.

I insisted and she checked my whole mouth (TONGUE, tonsils, cheeks etc) and she reassured me that there's no sign of Candida anywhere inside my mouth.

She said that I need to talk to my dentist (who's far from me at the moment).

Can anybody especially a dental specialist rule out any correlation with my current oral situtation?

1. I don't have a bad breath
2. I brush at least twice a day

3. I am wearing a fixed crown (upper front),
4. I use strong mouthwash that sometimes irritate my parotid glands and cause decrease/increase salivation...
5. I have fixed retainers at the back of my lower front teeth... I wore braces two years ago.
6. I am currently having a wisdom tooth eruption.
7. After a year of wearing braces, I can still feel overcrowding in my mouth that causes my tongue to be fitted inside a bit ill-fitting.
