I'm 6'4 ,240 I paly basketball, and I have tryouts in late October. I am currently rehabing from a leg injury so I haven't been able to run. Right now my meal plan consist mainy of oatmeal, almonds, cherries, vegetables,protein shakes,eggs,turkey, shereded wheat, and chicken.My body fat % is around 18-20% I'm trying to get down to atleast 10%and as low as 7%. I'm told that a basketball players diet should consist of 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fruits & veggies I'm also told that I should cut back on man made carbs like cereal, and oatmeal.I also need to know what are the best ways to loose body fat, and not muscle, and also what types of beans should I eat?
