im quite thin and aim to get lean muscle but dont want to lose alot of weight?

i want to be really well defined but also want to loose body fat without loosing alot of weight. I go to the gym 3 days a week lifting machine weights on a specific programme. Would i lose a lot of weight if i were to do more cardio and how much cardio?
