This is very common and I've experienced the same. Here are some helpful hints.

    1. Make sure you and your partner are very clean before sex.

    2. Make sure you go to the extra effort to wipe thoroughly with baby wipes after going #2, especially before sex.

    3. As you know, always make sure you pee after sex.

You might be allergic to whatever protection you are using. Some people are allergic to latex, so you might need to see your doctor to see what is going on.

Just to be safe too, you know?
