I strained my calf in a race yesterday. It is on the bottom outside portion of my leg that it hurts, and I was told it was strained. I was told by two different proffesionals, a doctor and a trainer, what to do. The doctor said to walk on it, and the trainer (physical therapist type person) told me to use crutches. If anyone has had a strained calf before, what did you do, how long does it take to heal, and does it take long for you to get your full range of motion back? Thanks
