I removed my cartilage piercing because it was infected but should I put it back...

...in now? I'm on antibiotics. My doctor said I could keep it out or put it back in but it might get worse.. I don't know if it's completely closed up yet, It's been a few days. Should I try and put it back in there? There's still trapped tissue on the back of the piercing. I keep reading that you should never remove an infected piercing.

    Clean the earring with
    rubbing alchol or pexiride
    then put it back it
put ear cleaner on it every day
    it should be fine

no you were right to. when it looks better, you could put it back in, because getting it redone somewhere else can look a bit dodgy!
