I just had a cavity filled a week ago and it still hurts is this normal?

The pain is a dull ache and is sensitive to cold. Also eating anything hard will hurt. Is this something that will go away or do I have to see my dentist?

It think there may be a problem. It shouldn't hurt except for where they poked you with novicaine. you need to go back to the dentist.
