I have trouble waking up early to my alarm when I need to. Please give me...

...some advice!? Here is my situation. I am currently a student in college, and also a member of the US military.

When it comes down to waking up for class, I have my cell phone alarm go off across the room and my radio turn on at the same time. I always have this voice in my head telling me, "Hit snooze and go back to sleep for 5 more minutes." It keeps doing this until I finally realize I have 15 minutes to get to class, or forget to hit snooze and actually turn off the alarm to only wake up late.

Then here is the strange part. In the military, when I have to wake up for watch on a ship, or just do anything while I am on board...I can wake up with NO trouble at all.

It seems to be a subconscious thing, but I am not sure. If anyone can lend some advice on what to do, I would appreciate it. I am currently missing my 8 AM class because of this problem. Thanks
I do get on my feet...to turn off my cell phone alarm. But then I just get back into bed. I have no motivation it seems to stay awake...

put your alarm clock in an other room, so you really have to get up to shut it out. once you are on your feed it's easier to really get up...
