I have slight discomfort in my throat?

this is what really happened, we had fish last week and i think i did swallow a nasty bone after which i felt discomfort in my throat. Now my partner said that the bone aint there but just made a scartch in my tonsils thats why im having discomfort. Now a week has passed and the discomfort, though not painful runs down at the back slightly above my chest area. Should I be worried? I dont have any problems breathing though.

Your partner is probably right. Keep an eye on it though. If it doesn't improve or you have difficulty swallowing or breathing, see help of a health care provider.
