I am overweight. I have a significant thyroid problem so losing weight is somewhat difficult. I am also a stay at home mom of a 2 yr old and a 10 week old. I feel like if I can control my sugar intake, that'll solve most of my weight problem. The thing is, I want it all the time. If I don't have it during the meal, I want dessert. Sweet snacks too. I need to get myself in check for my own health, and the future health of my kids. If I cut out sugar cold turkey, is that the best route? If yes, should I cut out natural sugars too? Like fruits? Please give me some good, practical advice. Thank you.
