Thread: I am I sick, or do I have a reaction?

Um so right now when I swallow it feels like a have food in my throat, and my chest also hurts aswell as my throat. My throat and chest feel really tight, it started about 7 hours ago. I was doing some gardening (pulling of weeds) I don't know if I'm having an allergic reaction to them or not. but the discomfort really started to happen after I had an ice tea zero. I don't know if the aspartame in it has anything to do with this?

I'd get stuff like that after gardening as well - all sorts of cooties in the ground and the weeds. Although aspartame is also responsible for a host of nasties. I'd see a doctor if it doesn't settle down soon. I also found sucking on ice cubes helped to relieve my throat.

This sounds like an allergic reaction. You should take some benadryl. If it doesn't help, see a Dr.

that isn't a standard reaction to aspartame, but you are having allergic reaction or worse..


could be you touched some weed you are allergic to, or poison ivy,

but i think the most likely thing is that you inhaled some of the weed killer, which burned your throat inside, and your lungs. Since that is a possibility, i think going to the ER would be smart. really. because if i am right, the longer till you get treatment, the more damage will happen.
