I have read a lot of information about how you need to work out on certain days and rest on other days. I am doing weight lifting, push-up burpees, stretches, push-ups, and sit-ups every other day.

On the days in between, I know I'm not supposed to do weight lifting, because it won't give the muscles time to rest and grow. What about push-ups, sit-ups, and push-up burpees? Can I do any of these on the days in between to increase shoulder strength (push-ups), sit-ups (abs), push-up burpees (strength and explosiveness), any and or all of these? Or do all of these categories need the same amount of rest time?
