I weigh 125 lbs, and am 5'7, and 15. I have been eating 1100-1500 calories a week, different each day. Like.... Monday: 1200 calories, Tuesday 1100, Wednesday, 1300, Thursday, 1100, Friday, 1100, Saturday 1500, Sunday 1100. I want to lose 10 more lbs and maintain from then. I exercise every day and burn off 200-500 calories each day depending on my caloric intake. I think my body hit starvation mode though and I am no longer losing weight. (I used to weigh 220 2 years ago) Every 2 weeks on Saturday I eat 3500 calories. So how many does my body burn without exercise? I still want to do different caloric amounts like I have been. Like one day 1200 the next 1400, etc. But I've heard since I'm a teenager I should have no less than 1500. But I'm afraid to eat more because I don't want to gain weight. Has anyone hit a plateau and increase calories without weight gain? Or did you gain weight a little while then it come back off shortly? I'm really scared to increase the calories.
