how long should it take to feel the posertive effects of quiting smoking?

i have virtually quit smoking down to 4 or 5 a week. i just find it so hard to finally quit altogether especially when i go out with Friends for a drink. my craving hits give in point and i have one after a beer on the weekends is this ok or is it just as bad as smoking on a daily basis?

it only takes a day for your blood pressure to go back to normal. then soon after, your cilia start to grow back and your sense of smell returns.
