Thread: how long after the last depo shot do you start bleeding?

i just wanted to know cause i want to be prepared

i've been on the shot for a year and a half..

I'm sure everyone is different and it probably also matters how long you've been on it etc.

However in my case, it was 3 months after my last depo expired (so about 6 months) before I started menstrating again. And then I menstrated every 2 weeks very heavily for about 2 months. This was a pain in the butt (not literally), but around the 3rd month it started to regulate again.
