How do you get crohn's disease?

Like, is it transmitted through general contact or what? I'm just wondering because a girl in my school has it & I don't want to catch it.

No. And.. you could have searched wikipedia... but whatever.

I have Crohn's disease; it's GENETIC. Meaning, no, you can't catch it. Unless it's already in your bloodline... Generally, a whole family can carry the gene in a remissive state, but severe stress can trigger it.

You can't catch it - it's genetic, meaning you would get it from your parents.
