how can I make my voice deeper?

I'm only young yet and I think my voice is horrible, it sounds so girly and childish and I'm 17, I hate it, I sound like a pushover, I want a deeper or more authoritive sounding voice that people will take notice too when I speak, like if I'm yelling but without much effort will sound like I'm being serious. right now, I dont sound serious and once even my friend said that when I said no to something she wanted, she thought I was joking! I hear smoking makes it deeper, when im older if my voice hasnt changed, I might resort to that!

DO NOT smoke to make your voice deeper, it will sound deeper but in a bad way, I personally hate how smokers sounds. You're still 17, you have a few years to hope it gets lower.
