Thread: How can I lessen the over abundance of vaginal discharge?

I have seen my OB and she doesn say I have an over abundance of Vaginal discharge. It is NOT an infection. She claimed there is nothing I can do about it...but there must be!??! When I have intercourse, it is just too much and it is over lubricating. Is there anything I can do to lessen this even a little bit? HELP!!!!

I have never heard of anyone complaining about this! I would think that guys would love it. Anyway, one way to dry out your mucous membranes would be to take a decongestant such as sudafed. Not only will it make your mouth and nose dry it will lower the amount of mucous and secretions in your vagina.

Be glad, some people are too dry, which is worse. I read somewhere that antihistamines, and decongestants which dry up nasal passages have side effects of drying up mucous in the vagina. Try taking Sudafed for a while, and see if that helps.

Keep a towel by the bed so that you can wipe away the excess.
