How can I get strong legs?

I want to be able to run easily, fast, and long distances. I've tried to just go on a treadmill everyday, but that didn't do anything! Help me. Please!

you didn't do it long enough. if your goal is endurance, you must run alot, all the time. take fish oil to keep your joints healthy and run with proper form (use the hamstrings and stay on the balls of your feet). watch videos of marathon runners.

if you want STRONG legs, i suggest ditching the running and start squatting with free weights. this will get you the physique thats more appealing. if you look at marathon runners physiques, they aren't really that desirable. but if you look at sprinters, well then thats what people are looking for.

i do cross country and track and field. its hard at first but once you get into shape, its easier and fun when you win medals.

plus your legs will become ripped.

    itt cantt hurtt to tryy.
