My caloric requirement as a competitive swimmer is 4000-5000 calories a day to maintain my weight. It has been impossible eating that much lately because I eat only whole grain pasta, brown rice, oatmeal, fruits, cottage cheese and skim milk, and lean poultry. Even if I divide my meals to 6-8 a day, I get really bloated from so much food, and Im really tired after a meal. Anyway to make my stomach empty a bit faster so I can eat more? I have to eat more or I will lose weight. Please don't suggest junk food or anything like that, my lifestyle is eating right, and the right type of foods help my performance.
