    High Intensity Cardio (how many times a week)?

    Ive been doing high intensity cardio on the tredmill for 3x a week and im in pretty good shape so im wondering is it possible to do it 5-6x a week ? The reason I love it is because mixing the sprints with the walking really confuses your metabolism and burns fat pretty well but with the extra days a week it can really speed up. From what ive heard you feel the effect usually up to 24 hours after you step off the tredmill which makes me believe that it is okay to do it almost every day

    Not really!!! Body need to recover. So it is best to do Cardio one day and strength training or resistance or interval training next day. Your body will respond best if you do mixed training in a week.

    Try alternating and remember to give your body a rest occassionally!

    6 days/week is good, my dad runs marathons and has uber intense treadmill workouts & recommends to take a day off/week to let your body rest.

    Im just passing on the advice.
