I am 7 weeks pregnant and I live in Burra South Australia, I am terrified of going into Labour here and being 2 hours away from Adelaide. I want to give birth somewhere that offers pain relief and my baby can get the best care if something goes wrong without having to be transfered to another hospital. I just want to talk to someone who has given birth in a rural hospital and can fill me in on their care, what midwives were like etc etc. I want to elect to be induced, but everyone keeps telling me it wont be possible. I don't see why not when i live on a farm in the middle of nowhere, My last labour was short so i'm assuming my 2nd labour will be even faster. I can see it now..my fiance' delivering our baby on the side of the road because we diden't make it to hospital in time.

Also, I don't know how much help this information will be but i was induced with my last pregnancy.
