Thread: Is fifteen too young?

So two of my closest friends who are both fifteen have recently gone all the way with their boyfriends. They both say they're in love and want to marry him some day, but i can't help to think they're being a bit naive. I always thought 15 was a little too young to have sex, but i just don't know anymore. They say because I've never been "in love" before i can't really know what they are talking about. Are they being naive, or do i just not know what I'm talking about? Also do you think 15 is too young???

The fact that you are asking this question, especially in today's society, means that you are more intelligent and more mature then your friends. The age of consent is 18 because when you are older, you will know more about pregnancy and STDs. Be careful and safe!

theres a handful of girls in highschool who do things and a handful who don't.

It is kind of young, but if they think they are ready, than I guess they are and don't care about the consequences.. but whatever, just as long as you don't do it to fit in, it is alright. :]
