I'll follow a bit of a pattern:

1. On Day 1, I would do only weight training and other training for the upper body.
On Day 2, I would do only cardio training, giving my upper body a bit of a rest.
Day 3 would pretty much be Day 1, so I would be working out every day. The cycle would repeat. However, I'd still rest after like 4-6 days of working out.

or...

2. On Day 1, I would do both cardio and upper body training. This would be like combining Day 1 & 2 from the other (above) option.
On Day 2, I rest. Maybe a few sit ups or something, but no hard workout. This is my rest day.
Day 3 would be Day 1, again. The cycle repeats.

Which workout plan is more efficient and safer? If they are both equally efficient/safe, I don't have a preference for one of them. Either works for me.
