Thursday I had tubes placed in my ears and my adenoids removed. They told me to eat, shower, and pretty much do whatever i want the next day. They didnt give me and medicine, or limitations. They told me take tylenol and see them in a week. But ive been reading everywhere that i was supposed to get atleast some ear drops, if not also nasal drops, to clean out the discharge the next couple of days. And some medications. Im now in more pain then before the surgery, sharp pains when i swallow, and loss of hearing. I also have TONS of pressure still, so im wandering whats up? The doctors told me to call them if im not seeing improvement by tomorrow. So im just wandering am i have a allergic reaction or something? Its sort of freaking me out that my doctors are saying one thing, and im hearing somethings completely different. My other doctors said i shouldnt be coming to school and drumline practice so soon, and i should be getting 4-10 days off of my regular life. If it helps any i have ET
Eustachian tube disorder. Which is why i had my adenoids removed also. But any suggestions or advice for this? Im female and 15 years old, and this sharp pains and hearing loss is killing me. I also had extreme nausea all day yesterday.
