    ear cartilage! might be affected...scared?

well i got my ear cartilage peirce 4 months ago...right now i just took it out to clean it and i notice a BIG ASS BUMP on my left ear. i notice it before but i regret ignoring it. NOW it bleeding like crazy when i took the earing out. the other ear is prefecting fine but the left ear is just gross..
its a bump right on the hole. it bleeds. its darked color. the bump is on the back side of my ear. it hurts when i lay on it. its really hard. been there for awhile

im pretty sure its affected but should i just keep my earing on and let it heal..its a lot darker is that a bad sign? what is the cause of this? wil the bump ever go away?

    thank u!

for tonight/now you should soak it in some sea salt water which will help with the INFECTION (not affected.) if you have one. i would advise leaving the earing out, but this could close the hole up which will mean that if you want to have it again youll need to get it repierced. i would also suggest seeing a dr about it as soon as you can get in for an apointment. if its black you may need antibiotics to clear it up. something that home remedies wont fix. the salt water will help for now though till you get in.
