I have this pain in my throat when I swallow. It's like when you have a sore throat kind of, so when I swallow either saliva and food the throat hurts. There is no change in my speech and I don't have a cold. I will say this, the day before the this pain started I had a lot of phlegm irritation in my throat so I spent a lot of time pulling it out and spitting (sorry for being graphic). I spent a good while doing this and a day later I had this problem. It also hurts when I yawn. This seems to be only the inside of the throat.

Anyone, any idea what this might be ?! Is it just an irritation and i should be fine or should I get this checked out. The spitting up was on Thursday night and the pain started Friday and hasn't let up yet.
