Does the chlorine or something in the pool water cause acne? Or contribute to it? Thanks =)

i think it's a combo of the chlorine and the bacteria of other people. public pools are bacteria-ridden from other people.

It shouldnt cause the acne but it can certainly irritate you skin worse..I had horrible acne for YEARS..and NEVER use oil of olay products..thats the worst stuff to use for acne prone skin...but the chlorine..may help to dry up the oil on your face and help the acne..I would say..after chlorine exposure you should wash your face really well and use an acne cream and a face lotion as well and your acne should be gone soon..
