Yes. I have to travel for work and when I am away I find myself staying up late (like right now, it's 230am) because I simply can not get to sleep unless my wife is sleeping next to me.
No I sleep much worse next to someone bacause everytime they toss and turn it wakes me up.
Try making sure your bedrooms nice and cool, no caffine after 3pm and exercise ( but not less than 3-4 hours before bed).
