I went to the dentist on Thursday and I had a routine cleaning, they said that everything was fine and sent me on my way. On Friday I woke up and all of my gums were very swollen, however on my right side I noticed that it was very swollen and it looked like I had a piece of skin over my tooth (I DO NOT HAVE ANY WISDOM TEETH, THEY NEVER FORMED), and it was bright, bright red. As the day went by the swelling in the front of my gums went away but the back of my mouth kept on getting worse. Right now my jaw hurts, and it hurts right behind my ear, and I feel extreme pressure and pain, and my mouth is tender to the touch. I dont believe I have an ear infection because it is radiating from my mouth, but I was wondering if I could have a gum/jaw infection, and if I do what can I do about it (my dentist does not have office hours on mondays, and I cleaned my mouth with moutwash and warm salty water.) PLEASE HELP IT HURTS
