Did I get bit by a spider?

About three weeks ago I found a spot on my leg by my calf muscle. It didn't hurt for the first week or so but then started to get really itchy, I thought it was healing. Over the past couple weeks what looks like small zits have formed around where I thought I may have got bitten and it's still really itchy. When I rub my finger over the area it feels like there is something underneath the skin...kind of lumpy. Sometimes my calf muscle feels sore in the area too. I'm not sure if it's worth going to the doctors to have looked at.

Has anyone been bit by a spider and had similar symptoms? Or do you think I was bit by something else?

you should definately go to the doctor since its been getting worse. if its a spider bite you should have to holes because spiders have fangs thats what they bite you with. so you would have 2 right next to eachother, definately go to the doctor though because it doesnt seem like its getting any better.

Do you have a photo? Spiderbites are usually fairly easy to recognise.
