Lately(the past couple months) I've encountered awful and constant burping, almost continuous, followed by chest pain/pressure. Its worsened the past few months, to the point where people around me ask if it is necessary I burp so much. It hurts and is pressure in my throat/chest unless I burp, and once I do, it feels better, temporarily. No matter what I am drinking it doesn't seem to make a difference. I am scared and unsure of whats going on and plan on making a doctor's appointment. Is this common at all? I am sure diet has something to do with it - and I've cleaned it up and started eating clean the past couple of weeks, yet it hasn't gone away.

Can anyone share with me a similar experience or enlighten to what may be going on? Thank you in advance.

Also, I don't have heartburn when this occurs, so does that rule out acid reflux?
