I need to know what kind of services there are for people that have mental illness in Northern New Jersey. I work as a community support worker in Boston for a private state-funded agency, and I have a caseload of clients who I visit 1x-2x per week and help them in maintaining appointments, keeping their living space clean, and advocating on their behalf to their care providers so they can continue to live on their own. My best friend's mother lives in New Jersey and really would benefit from obtaining a referral to an agency like this in her area. I know how the system works in Mass, but I need to know where to look for similar services in Northern NJ. Specifically, I'm looking for an agency that can help someone get a referral to a subsidized apartment, assess any barriers they might have to living independently (such as forgetting appointments, social anxiety, etc.) and provide them with a support worker who can help them overcome this. Any help is appreciated
