    Chest Pain after eating Cucumbers?

I've found it really weird, but every time I eat about 1/2 a cucumber or more, a few hours before I go to bed, I wake up in the middle of the night with chest pains and the inability to belch while those chest pains are happening. Then when I sit up strait the pain goes away for a bit but then comes back a few minuets later. The pain feels like it might be coming from the base of my esophagus and also some back pain occurs too. I've been perplexed by this and wondering if anyone can help?

My brother has the exact same problem, you have to remove the skin and the seeds and only eat the white flesh, this fixed him up and he doesn't normally get heartburn at all also the white ones or apple cucumbers are the best that hes found so far, dont know about the lebanese, continental or normal green one, but I do know that the white skinned ones are okay, hope this helps, goodluck!
