    are cardboard tampons suppose to hurt when inserting?

    because when ever i have my period
    and i use the light tampons (the pink ones)
    and its cardboard it hurts when im putting it

    in in the begining is that normal?

    the plastic ones go in better, but the cardboard ones are more comfortable

    I never liked the cardboard ones. I always get "slim fits" by Playtex I think. Much smoother and easier to use.

    change direction! one leg up, point towards the lower back.

    the plastic ones are shapped for inserting a little smoother. Make sure your putting it in far enough too, because if its not it hurts
