Thread: Can you whiten your teeth in the tanning bed?

I know that sun exposure will whiten your teeth. but will the tanning bed have the same effect?

Only if you sit in there with whitening strips or bleaching trays. And it doesn't make any difference if your mouth is open or closed. The rays won't affect the teeth, just your skin.

You can use Twilight Teeth,it has a tray that keeps your mouth open and a gel that the uv activates to whiten, but the tanning bed wont whiten your teeth alone. You can get twilight teeth at anyplace online that sells tanning lotion, and probably on ebay

I don't think so I think the tan itself causes the teeth to appear whiter I have tan most of my life and never seen a change in them I would think it might cause then to turn yellow if anything
